Work Design Readiness Assessment

Most AI and systems investments under-deliver because the work was never redesigned. See where your biggest gaps are before you spend another pound on tooling.

A short, practical diagnostic for senior HR and People leaders. See how ready your current HR work is for AI and technology—and where poorly designed work may be quietly limiting your ROI.

What it measures

Five practical dimensions of AI-ready work

This is not a generic quiz. Each dimension surfaces a real constraint that stops AI and new systems from delivering. Answer honestly — the value is in an accurate picture, not a high score.

01

Work Clarity

How clearly workflows, ownership and handoffs are defined.

02

Decision Rights

How clear it is what humans decide vs what AI can handle.

03

Operational Drag

How much capacity is lost to rework, manual steps and friction.

04

Data & Systems

Whether your people data and systems are trustworthy and usable.

05

Measurement

Whether you can see if work-design changes improve outcomes.

FAQ

About the assessment

What is the Work Design Readiness Assessment?

A fifteen-question self-serve diagnostic that scores your HR function across five dimensions: work clarity, decision rights, operational drag, data and system foundations, and measurement and feedback. You get a readiness score, per-dimension results and three tailored gap insights immediately.

How long does it take?

Eight to fifteen minutes. One question at a time, and you can go back and change an answer before you submit.

Do I have to book a call to see my results?

No. Results appear on screen as soon as you finish. A debrief call is offered afterwards if you want someone to walk through the findings with you, but it is optional.

Who should take it?

CHROs, Chief People Officers, HR Directors and Heads of People Operations, particularly in fast-growth or rapidly changing organisations of 100 to 1,000 employees. It is most useful if you suspect your systems or AI investments are underdelivering.

Is it specific to a particular HR system?

No. The assessment is about how work is designed, not which platform you run. It is equally valid on HiBob, Sage People, Dayforce, Workday or a set of spreadsheets.

What happens to my answers?

They are used to generate your score and, if you ask for a debrief, to make that conversation useful. We do not share your responses with third parties.
